RGB LED Light Strips 1.2M

TV backlighting is one of the most searched LED lighting applications in Australia — and the 1.2M RGB strip is sized exactly right for it. At 1.2 metres, it handles the back edge of most 55–65 inch televisions, the underside of a floating media shelf, or a short feature accent run without any need to cut, extend, or manage excess strip.

RGB means three separate LED channels — Red, Green, Blue — that mix in any combination to produce the full colour spectrum. Warm amber for evening mood, electric blue for gaming, soft green for a nature-inspired accent, or pure white for task use — the controller handles all of it. The dimmer lets you take any colour from full output to the softest possible glow, which matters more than most people expect for ambient and mood lighting applications.

The self-adhesive backing on the strip makes installation genuinely straightforward for a first-time LED project. Clean the surface, peel the backing, press and hold — the strip adheres firmly to smooth surfaces including painted MDF, glass, tile, and most finished timber. No tools required for the strip itself.

At 1.2 metres, this is also the lowest commitment entry point into RGB strip lighting — a single strip above a bedhead, under a bathroom vanity, or along a stair riser lets you experience the effect before committing to longer or more complex installations. Multiple 1.2M strips can be connected in series for longer runs.
