EcoClad – Round Slat Matt Black Internal PVC Cladding

This isn’t the shiny, glossy black you’re picturing. It’s flat, matt, and soaks up light instead of throwing it back at you. Combine that with the rounded slat shape, and you get a wall that feels darker and more grounded, without any of that glare a gloss panel tends to bring into a room.

• Matt finish, no shine, no glare, just a flat surface that doesn’t bounce light back.
• Rounded slats keep the transitions soft, not those hard, sharp edges you’d get with a flat panel.
• Black soaks up ambient light rather than reflecting it, so the wall looks different depending on the room’s lighting.
• The curves throw gentle shadows across the surface rather than sharp, obvious lines.
• Panels click into each other one after another, so the curved pattern just keeps running across the whole wall.

Applications and Suitable Uses

• Home theatres – The matt black surface cuts down on reflected light near a screen
• Bar backs and lounge areas – Suit low-lit spaces built around atmosphere rather than brightness.
• Studies and reading rooms – A darker, quieter backdrop for a more focused space
• Architectural feature walls – Work well as a bold anchor point in an otherwise neutral room.
• Powder rooms – Make a strong impression in a smaller, contained space.

Why Choose EcoClad – Round Slat Matt Black Internal PVC Cladding?

A glossy black panel throws light back at you, which can actually work against the mood you are going for. This one does the opposite. The matt finish keeps everything soft and non-reflective, letting the rounded slats create depth through shadow rather than shine.

It is a better fit for spaces where you want the back to feel deliberate and calm, not sharp or showroom glossy.
