PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A black facade looks uncompromising only when every detail is resolved with the same level of intention. The moment a corner is finished with a raw cut edge, a mismatched trim, or an improvised flashing, the whole composition loses the precision that makes dark cladding so visually powerful.

The EcoClad Vanta Black L-Edge Trim is the dedicated corner finishing solution for EcoClad Vanta Black External Wall Cladding installations. Co-Extrusion manufactured to match the deep charcoal-black finish and grain texture of the main panels, this trim wraps external corners and termination points with the same bold confidence as the cladding itself.

The 51x51mm L-profile conceals cut panel edges on both sides of an external corner, protecting the composite core from moisture ingress while presenting a clean matched face on each elevation. At 3300mm per length, a single piece handles standard wall heights without introducing unnecessary horizontal joins into a facade that’s all about clean, uninterrupted lines.

This trim is the detail that makes a black WPC cladding installation look architecturally credible — not just cladding screwed to a wall, but a facade resolved all the way to its edges.

Q: Is the Vanta Black L-Edge the same depth of black as the main cladding panels?
A: Yes. The L-Edge is manufactured in the same Co-Extrusion WPC compound as the Vanta Black cladding panels, giving a matched depth of colour and surface grain. Under direct light and at angles, the trim and panels will read as a unified system.
Q: How do I avoid screw heads showing on a black facade trim installation?
A: The L-Edge trim is designed to be installed before the cladding panels. Screws fixing the trim to the subframe are then concealed behind the cladding panel edges when they are installed. For any screw heads that remain visible (for example at the top of the trim before the top cap is installed), use matching black-coated stainless steel screws or touch up with an exterior-grade composite-compatible touch-up pen in black.
