Terra Deck – Padauk Brown Decking Board

Some colours just work outdoors. Padauk Brown is one of them — a deep reddish-brown that draws directly from the tropical Padauk hardwood palette, full of warmth but grounded enough to sit comfortably against brick, rendered render, stone paving, and established gardens.

The board itself measures 137x23x5400mm with a circular hollow core profile. The hollow channels do two jobs: they keep the board light enough for straightforward single-person handling, and they create a natural drainage and ventilation pathway under the deck that helps protect your subframe from moisture over time.

The Gen 5 co-extrusion manufacturing process is what separates these boards from older composite products. A continuous polymer shell is fused to all four sides of the board core during production — not applied afterwards, but bonded in the manufacturing process itself. That distinction matters for long-term performance. The cap layer resists surface staining, UV-driven colour fade, and moisture absorption far better than uncapped WPC boards could manage.

Padauk Brown suits contemporary homes where the owners want a clear timber influence without resorting to a beige or grey neutral. It pairs particularly well with dark-framed windows, lush green plantings, red brick, and dark concrete — the colour has enough warmth to bring those elements together rather than compete with them.
